Call For Submissions of Cultural and Creative Products, Popular Science Reading Materials, and Characteristic Rock and Mineral Specimens from Zhangye Global Geopark
To all UNESCO Global Geoparks and the sister geoparks of Zhangye UNESCO Global Geopark:
The exhibition upgrade of Zhangye Global Geopark Museum has been completed. During this upgrade, a special area for displaying and selling cultural and creative products and a science popularization exhibition area that can fully display the educational excursion routes of the Zhangye UNESCO Global Geopark (hereinafter referred to as Zhangye UGGp) were newly built in the geopark museum. In order to further enhance the science popularization and education capabilities of the geopark museum, better play the role of promotion and science popularization, and strengthen the exchange and cooperation among geoparks, we are now calling for submissions of cultural and creative products, popular science reading materials, and characteristic rock and mineral specimens from all UNESCO Global Geoparks and sister geoparks of Zhangye UGGp.Zhangye Colorful Hills Appeared on the High-Speed Train
On the morning of January 11, 2024, the high-speed train, with the name “Rainbow Zhangye, Colorful Hills”, which is sponsored by Zhangye Colorful Hills, started its first trip from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station.
The “Rainbow Zhangye, Colorful Hills” high-speed train Harmony Express CRh2A belongs to Shangnan Station of Shanghai Railway Bureau. It passes through focused passenger source cities such as Shanghai, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Wuxi, Shaoxing, Wenzhou, Ningbo, Dongguan, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Wuhan, and Chongqing. It has a long driving distance and passes through many cities, which means a good promotional effect.
